See What Our Members are Saying about the Luray-Page County Chamber of Commerce!

“I have been a member of the Chamber since I started in the real estate business almost 30 years ago. My membership has paid for itself many times over due to the promotional and educational activities sponsored by the chamber. I also appreciate the tremendous professional marketing of Page County, which brings potential buyers of real estate into my office.”

-Bill Dudley, Bill Dudley & Associates Real Estate

“Those visitors coming to the Luray-Page Chamber of Commerce can access an in-person, vast network of talent and resources in the Luray area. Those who belong to the Chamber are the network. In either direction the Chamber is a great value right at our door, ready to assist and share.”

-Lesley Mack, Birdsong Pleasure Garden

“Prior to moving to Luray as a full time resident in 2017, I worked and resided in Pennsylvania.  I tried numerous times to get involved with the local chamber but due to my work schedule and the fact they only did morning events I could never join. When we moved here,  I knew very few people and I had a lot of time on my hands.  I heard there was an active Chamber of Commerce and sought them out.  I was excited to see that they offered events at various times of the day.  Early morning breakfasts, business after hours, lunch and learns. Events are offered to handle individuals needs and schedules.  I attended my first breakfast event and felt very welcomed not just by the chamber but by local business owners as well. Flash forward and I’m still an active member of my local chamber. Most of my friends I met through my local chamber. My businesses have grown due to my local chamber.  My networking with local businesses has vastly improved due to my local chamber.  We are very lucky to have such an organization in our area.”

-Kris A Garrett, LMT, Integrated Bodyworks

“It has been a great pleasure for me to have been involved with the Luray – Page County Chamber of Commerce for over 35 years, and to have had the honor of serving as President, Treasure, and on the Board of Directors. Our County and towns are fortunate to have the Chamber we have; the friendly and courteous staff are always available to help tourist and residents. Tourism is one of the key parts of our local economy. Over the past several years the Chamber has markedly increased tourism spending while other areas of the state show declining results. Residents enjoy many special events and opportunities to meet and network with other residents and business owners. Our Chamber is one of the reasons the future looks bright for our county!”

-Jerry & Nora Dofflemyer, Pass Mountain Rentals

“Everyone at the Chamber has been very nice and helpful. Especially since I am new to the area and to the Page New and Courier paper. The Christmas Chamber event was an event that I went to promote the paper, and the event was very well organized, all the activities for the kids, vendors and of course the Santa display was the best. The Chamber does a lot for the small businesses in the towns of Page County. I know it will be helpful being part of the Chamber and promoting the paper.”

-Amy Stormer, Page News and Courier

“As a new resident of Page County, I joined the Chamber two years ago as an Individual Member. The connections I made were invaluable, and assisted greatly in my becoming acquainted with the community and its people. Today, as the Managing Editor for the Page News and Courier, those connections are even more important. The Chamber events and publicity, provide ongoing opportunities for new connections with local and regional businesses as well as community leaders, as we work to grow our important community newspaper. Thank you to the entire staff of the Luray-Page County Chamber of Commerce for the hard work you do to progress our community and its people.”

-Ray Snader, Managing Editor, Page News and Courier

“The Luray-Page County Chamber of Commerce serves local businesses in so many different ways, it's hard for most members to take full advantage of all they offer…Page Valley News has utilized the Chamber's monthly newsletter to distribute information about advertising opportunities, appeared as a guest on a weekly radio show the Chamber hosts in partnership withThe River (95.3 FM) to expose our site to new readers in the region, was featured in the monthly newsletter as a new Chamber member, attended a workshop about using social media and starting a podcast, and enjoyed networking opportunities from Business After Hours to the annual banquet. The Chamber supports and promotes local businesses from their grand opening ribbon cuttings at retail outlets to helping fill empty bookings at local cabins and B&Bs — and Page Valley News, as a Chamber member, has benefited greatly from this partnership.”

-Randy Arrington, Editor, Page Valley News

“The mission of the SV SBDC is to serve the needs of the small business community. In doing so, we know that our best work is never achieved alone. We count ourselves fortunate to have an excellent partner in the Luray-Page County Chamber of Commerce. Gina Hilliard and her staff are focused on growth and success for this business community. Whether we are working with a new or long-established company, we know that we can recommend the immediate and proactive assistance that only a dedicated Chamber can provide. We also know that the businesses of Page County and its towns are grateful for this important resource. In addition, we have been so pleased at the Chamber’s support of SBDC workshops and other events. They host our speakers and collaborate with us to find the best options for the businesses we both serve. In turn, we’re happy to support their successes in outreach and on special occasions such as Small Business Saturday. We could not ask for a better partner, and Page County businesses could not wish for a better advocate and champion.”

“We are fortunate to have a growing, productive Chamber and staff that have aided us in our 52 years of tourism business. By informing tourists at the Welcome center and thru the internet, having effective ad campaigns, great relations with Richmond and Virginia Tourism along with other Chambers & Tourism centers has aided in growing our business and so many others. The lodging tax increase from $75,000 in the early 90’s to over $4 million now shows how tourism lodging has grown in Page County with the aid of the Luray Page County Chamber of Commerce.”
