Description: There will be a virtual program via a Zoom link provided by the Shenandoah Valley Black Heritage Project.  Dr. Jennifer Blair, University of Ottawa, will share her research discovered while studying the letters of Bethany Veney, an enslaved woman in Page County.  Bethany Veney dictated her life story in 1889 which became a published book:  The Narrative of Bethany Veney, a Slave Woman.
