Lunch ‘N Learn – SWaM & eVA – Doing Business with the Government 101

Description:

Join us for a Chamber Lunch & Learn in partnership with the Shenandoah Valley Small Business Development Center (SV SBDC) to explore opportunities for small businesses to contract with government agencies in Virginia. This session, “SWaM & eVA – Doing Business with the Government 101,” will provide valuable insights into how local municipalities, state agencies, and universities purchase goods and services from small businesses, with a commitment to increasing participation from SWaM-certified vendors. Becoming SWaM Certified is an important step in growing your business, and the SV SBDC, in collaboration with the Virginia Department of Small Business and Supplier Diversity (SBSD), can help you prepare your application and navigate eVA, Virginia’s Online Procurement Portal. Don’t miss this opportunity to position your business for success in the government marketplace!

The Chamber will provide lunch, including salad, a sandwich, chips, fruit, dessert, and a drink for attendees. The cost is $15 for Chamber members and $25 for potential members. This event will be held in the Chamber/Visitor Center Boardroom at 18 Campbell Street, Luray.

RSVP by Friday, April 4th to events@luraypage.com or call (540) 743-3915.
